What do the books look like?
The books are perfect-bound paperback novels. They look exactly like any best-selling novel, the only difference is that they have been personalised to include you as the star of the story.
Our books are the same size as a conventional paperback, measuring 17.8cm H x 10.8cm in size, and some books offer a choice of two different covers, allowing you further scope to personalise your gift.
The U Star Novels print production team has researched every element of book manufacturing to make sure our products are delivered with exceptional quality and stunningly finished to be enjoyed for many years to come.

How 'steamy' are the love scenes?
In our romance novels the sexual tension and excitement builds with each encounter between our heroine and hero. We have developed the U Star Lovin-O-Meter that will help you determine what book would be most suitable for whomever you are purchasing for.
Whilst the books are about two people who are in love, it is natural that they will make love in the story. Please carefully check the rating assigned to the book you are interested in before purchasing.

How do I place an order?
Ordering online is the easiest, most convenient and accurate method of processing your request.
Upon selecting the book you'd like to order, you'll be asked to answer a series of questions to provide us with the details required to personalise your novel.
The books are produced with the answers that you provide, exactly as you entered them. As such, we strongly encourage you to carefully check the spelling in the questionnaire form before you submit an order - this includes proper capitalisation of names and locations. We will not be able to refund your purchase as a result of spelling errors.
What if I don't have an answer to a question?
We hope you can answer every question required however, if you are having trouble, there is a help section next to each question which will provide you with some suggestions for your answers. If you can't remember or don't know all of your character's details, why not get creative and make some up!
Will I receive notification of my order?
Yes. Each order placed via our website has an order reference number which will be sent in a confirmation email from our Customer Services team.
How can I check the status of my order?
You can check the status of your order at any time by contacting Customer Services on email. Please have your order reference number available to expedite a reply. We will be on hand to assist you from 9:00AM to 6:00PM, Monday through Friday.
What payment methods do you accept?
U Star Novels accepts the following: Visa, Visa Electron, MasterCard, Delta and U Star Novels Gift Vouchers. Unfortunately we do not accept personal cheques due to the extra processing time required to allow the payment to clear. Your order will not ship until your payment has been successfully processed.
When is my credit card charged?
Your credit card will be charged once your order has been completed.
Do I pay GST?
GST is not applicable on our products.
Are my personal details and payment information secure?
Can I cancel an order?
Yes. You may cancel your order at any time up until the moment production starts on your book. To cancel your order, please email your order reference number to firstname.lastname@example.org .
How long does it take for a book to be processed and delivered?
Each book is individually made and will be delivered to you within 7-10 working days of receiving your order.
How much does a personalised book cost? Do you ship outside Australia?
Our range of novels are available for $39.95. Postage is available from $8.95 for Aus Post service. If you would like to use one of our other shipping options, the cost of these services are detailed in delivery & returns.
We will happily ship worldwide, simply select your country when checking out and the applicable postage costs will be applied to your order. We may print your novel in a different country if we think it will arrive sooner to its destination.
Can I have the book shipped to an alternate address?
YES! During the checkout procedure we have provided a place for you to specify the address where you would like the book delivered.
Does the personal information appear throughout the book in bold as it does in the examples on the website?
No, it appears in regular text like the rest of the book. We just use bold on the site to demonstrate how the books work.
Do you ship outside Australia?
Absolutely. Our order forms are designed to accommodate international orders. If you experience any problems, please do not hesitate to contact us for assistance with your order. email@example.com .
How long can I expect to wait before I receive my book?
Each book is custom made to your specification and generally takes 7-10 working days to produce, sometimes sooner.
Please bear in mind that these are just guidelines, and in busier times, your order may take longer to process, but we will advise you by email if your order will take any longer than 10 working days to arrive.
What if I need my novel immediately?
We try our best to accommodate the needs of our customers. Please contact a member of our Customer Services Department firstname.lastname@example.org. Additional charges may apply.
What is your return policy?
The very personal and custom nature of our books prevents us from offering refunds for books that have been produced for you. However, your satisfaction is our top priority. If the item is faulty or the personalisation is incorrect due to our error, we will gladly replace it at no charge to you.

Some of your books have a mild and wild option whats the difference?
Some of our books with a 3 or 4 rating actually have a 'mild' version available. Some of our customers want to star in an erotic novel with their partner, but they don't want third parties involved in the sex scenes. For those customers we suggest purchasing the mild version. Please rest assured that this is still an erotic novel.
Are your erotic and romance stories and eBooks original?
Yes indeed. You won't find them anywhere else unless we put them there.
Do I need special software or hardware to read eBooks?
All you need is your PC, laptop or hand held device and the free Reader software. We offer eBooks in different formats, Adobe PDF and EPUB. Should you need a different format download calibre a free software which will allow you to convert files into other formats like Mobipocket http://calibre-ebook.com/download
I have bought a downloadable book, how do I read it?
To read the books -
1. Your chosen ebook will be emailed to the email address that you gave in the delivery form, this can then sent be to any device by wireless or hardwired to your device
2. You can select from Adobe ePub, Adobe PDF.
Which format should I choose?
That depends on your Operating System and if you would like to read your eBooks on your PC or on a hand held device. For advice on selecting the correct format for your requirements, check our Readers Comparison Table.
Which eBook format should I read?
On the whole it comes down to two factors - Compatability (will it work on your device) and then your own personal preferences.

When you purchase an eBook with us, we provide two formats you can choose from which will be emailed to you. If you are having any problems with the format you have ordered please contact us and we will help you resolve any issues you are having.
Can I download eBooks onto my hand held device?
In most cases, yes. This does depend on which operating system your hand held device is running however, as different eBook formats are compatible with different operating systems. How soon after payment will my eBooks be available?
In most cases any eBooks will be available within a few hours.
Occasionally there may be a delay before the books are released whilst waiting for a notification from PayPal or google that your payment has cleared, your ebook can only be produced through normal working hours as we need a human presence to check and process your order.
Can I print and copy my eBooks?
We don't recommend it, as the quality of the book will not be high enough and can be very costly. If you want a printed copy as well we offer very good discounts on ebook and paperback combinations
Are your stories and eBooks reviewed?
Our books are always being reviewed by our customers and the press! We encourage readers to submit reviews, and comments are used on our website to help future customers work out the best book to suit their requirements.

Can I share the great U Star Novels book I just read with a friend?
U.S. Copyright law forbids the unauthorized copying of electronic books. Please respect the work of our authors by refraining from illegally copying and distributing their books to others, after all do you want your friends to read all about you in a sexy novel. How Do You Personalize a Classic Novel?
The copyright has expired on all the titles we carry, which means that they can be adjusted and reproduced. We have selected our favourite classics from beloved authors and currently offer the largest range of personalised classics available today. Our children’s and teen personalised classics make perfect gifts for children, birthday gifts, christening gifts as well as Christmas gifts for children of all ages. U Star Novels Personalised Peter Pan is one of our most popular gifts as it is suitable for boys and girls, who wish to play Peter or Wendy.
Finding ways to encourage your children and tweens to read is an ongoing challenge for parents, so U Star Personalised Classic novels are a wonderful way for them to escape into some of the greatest stories ever written and open up a whole new world of possibilities. As well as being able to personalize the 'hero' or 'heroine' of the tale, we also find the companions among the cast of characters who can also be customized allowing your child to star with their friends or other family members.
You can change the cover title and even write your own personalised dedication inside the front of the book. And also choose whether to replace one or all of the characters within the personalised classic of your choice.
Do You Change or Update The Stories?
Our personalized editions adhere as closely as possible to the original tales, other than changing the personalised character names and adding some other personalized features (such as describing the characters' eye and hair colours).
Do you customize the book’s title?
Every book comes with a customized cover with your name on it. If you’ve personalised ‘Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland’, or another classic that names the protagonist the title of the book will be personalised as well, ie. Katie’s Adventures in Wonderland.
For titles that don’t include the named protagonist, ie. Pride & Prejudice, under the title on the cover will read: Starring Katie Olver or whichever name you have chosen to feature. This can be more than one name too, ie. The Olver Family, or the U Star Novels Team – as a personalised classic makes a great leaving gift for a work colleague too.
The back cover of the book details a personalised synopsis of the story too, which features the other personalised names of your chosen cast list.
Inside the book we also list the full cast list so the recipient can immediately see whom you have selected to appear in their book.
Can I change the gender of a character?
Unfortunately for most of our books you need a male to play a male role and a female to play a female role, as we do not change the genders of the characters. So in the case of Peter Pan is referred to throughout the novel as 'he' and this unfortunately cannot be changed to 'she'.
We've been able to tweak a few characters to make them suitable for a male or female character, ie. White Rabbit in Alice in Wonderland or the Scarecrow in the Wizard of Oz.
In most cases we advise on the order form if a male or female name should be entered.
What if I don’t personalise all the characters?
That’s absolutely fine, you can personalize all characters in the novel or just one or two. On our order form the original character is set as the default answer. Don’t worry about leaving theses answer in place, for example, White Rabbit our system ensures your book won’t appear as 'White Rabbit the White Rabbit'.
I own a bookstore/gift-shop. Can I carry your books?
Yes you can! Inquire about our dealer program by sending an email to email@example.com It's very simple, there are no complicated contracts, and we can supply you with both web pages, a fully integrated back-end for ordering online and promotional items like order forms, posters etc.
